Utility Bill Assistance Programs
You may be eligible for federal funding to bring your past-due Utility Billing Services account current. We understand this pandemic has created difficult financial issues for many and that may be the cause of your past-due balance. Please review the two programs below to verify your eligibility and apply today to have your UBS debt paid by the programs. The application should take about 15 minutes. You can obtain a copy of your UBS bill at https://myaccount.carkw.com.
- For Pulaski County Residents: The Pulaski County Emergency Rental Assistance Program provides funds for rental and utility assistance. The program will pay up to 15 months of past-due utility bills for eligible applicants. The program will continue through the end of 2021, or until funds are depleted.
Applications are accepted online at www.pulaskicounty.net. Click the Pulaski County Emergency Rental Assistance Program link about halfway down the page. Anyone needing assistance filling out the online application may call the program’s office at 501-340-7085.
- For All Other Arkansas Residents: The Arkansas Rent Relief Program helps eligible persons who are unable to pay past-due and/or future rent or past-due utilities dating back to April 2020. The program will continue through the end of 2021.
Applications are online at http://www.ar.gov/rentrelief. For those needing help filling out their application, the program’s hotline – 855-RENTARK (855-736-8275) – is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
