In the course of providing safe and reliable water service, CAW employees must visit your home or business on a monthly basis to read the water meter. We also periodically re-read or change out the meter, make repairs to utility facilities, investigate complaints, or discontinue or restore service. In all of such visits, we go no further than the property easement in which the water main or meter is located.
All CAW personnel have photograph identification badges. You may request to see the badge. Also, you may call the CAW Maumelle Office at 501.851.3070 or Human Resources at 501.377.1251 to verify identity.
If there is ever doubt about an individual who identifies him/herself as a CAW employee or an employee of the other Utility Billing Services partners, please call to confirm the identity of the individual and the purpose of the visit to your service address.
As a matter of policy, Central Arkansas Water employees do not enter the customer’s home. An exception to this policy may occur when a customer requests assistance in detecting the cause of a leak or other plumbing problem. A CAW employee may enter a customer’s home in special circumstances but only at the customer’s request.
