CAW Receives 4th Energy Efficiency Incentive from Entergy Arkansas

Central Arkansas Water (CAW) received an incentive check for $29,467 from Entergy Arkansas’ Entergy Business Solutions Large Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Program for implementing energy savings upgrades that noticeably reduced CAW’s energy consumption and operating expenses.

“Entergy Arkansas offered CAW a financial incentive to make energy efficiency upgrades to our facilities, which resulted in several improvements for the utility. The money we’re saving on energy can be re-invested into our operations, yield benefits for our ratepayers and economy of this community,” said Elizabeth Tuck-Rowan, Purchasing Manager for Central Arkansas Water. “Additionally, these changes are good for the environment, which is very important to us and our customers.”  CAW’s participation in Entergy’s Business Solutions C&I Program resulted in estimated energy savings of 197,970 kWh annually.

Entergy Arkansas’ Business Solutions C&I Program helps customers save energy and money by providing technical assistance to identify facility improvement recommendations and financial incentives based on the total amount of energy the higher efficient equipment will save.
