LITTLE ROCK — Central Arkansas Water (CAW) is joining public water systems across the United States in celebrating Drinking Water Week 2014 from Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9. During Drinking Water Week, CAW is inviting water consumers, school children, public officials, and the general public to learn about the importance of safe drinking water to everyday quality of life and to reflect on the high quality of water service that Central Arkansas enjoys.
CAW will host “Get to Know Your H2O” public awareness and education events throughout the week. Among these activities are daily events where CAW employees will provide free water-saving devices and other unique giveaway items to the general public at the following times and locations:
• Monday, May 5: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. North Little Rock City Services Area
• Tuesday, May 6: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lakewood Village – Fountain Area
• Wednesday, May 7: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. River Market
• Thursday, May 8: Noon – 1:00 p.m. Promenade at Chenal
