It’s National Drinking Water Week and we at Central Arkansas Water, along with our customers and community have a good reason to celebrate; our tap water quality is exceptional.
For more than 30 years, the American Water Works Association and a number of other organizations and agencies celebrated Drinking Water Week – a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to join together to recognize the vital role water plays in our daily lives.
Businesses, industries and households all need an affordable and reliable water supply to operate. At Central Arkansas Water, we are committed to a well-maintained infrastructure and the reliable operation of our water—but also, water quality that goes above and beyond federal and state standards.
Central Arkansas Water will be publishing its Annual Water Quality Report in the next couple of weeks, and mailing those to all customer’s during the month of June. This report contains valuable information about the water you consume. It also announces what you already know – that Central Arkansas Water has exceptional water and continues to provide safe drinking water to Central Arkansas for 38 consecutive years in a row. If you’d like to get an advance look at the report, it will be available online within the next couple of weeks.
